i dont know what to do

how old are your test kits, when they expire they are far from accurate, what else is in the tank

the test kits are about 3 month old and in the tank i have 2 african dwarf frogs, 2 mollies 2 red chromides? and 1 angel

what size tank have you? when did you last do a water change? when did you check water stats? any change in colour of fish before they died?

the tank is roughly 36" by 18 or 20"
i did the water test after the first died since then i have done a water change as it was cleaning time anyway i tested again after that, no change in the fish at all. the last one to die was fine bright red/orange as usual and feeding then ten min later was dead

any ideas?
i'm scared to look in tank incase another has died!! :-(

what have you got in your tank besides the fish as in substrate & decorations?

pea sized gravel 3 plants whihc have been in for rougghly 1 month spongebob and patrick ornament
oh i forgot i have a sucking loach also

are the sponge bob & patrick aquatic ornaments? has any thing been spilt in the tank? have you sprayed any thing near the tank?

yeah they are aquatic ornaments and no nothing is sprayed near my tank, im so confused, feel helpless cos i cant find symptoms to find out why its happening
thanks for trying to help you got any ideas
i know there is nothing really to go off,

the idea i had was either something was leeching in your water or something had got in as you say fish are displaying no symptons of illness. take another look at your fish for any signes of any thing on them such as little white spots or a coat of dusting on them

i cheacked before but i will go check again now- hope i dont find any more nasty suprises
2 mins

just checked, nothing no spots nothing wrong - so it appears
one of my fish seemed to have clamped fin at the rear but then fanned out as usual- could that be significant? its the red chromide

I had the same scenario as you! i got a gravel cleaner, took all the wate away....did a 30% water change and used INTERPET LIQUIDSIL GENERAL TONIC, which gets rid of bacteria etc....now my fish are fine! no deaths or nothing...also TETRA dechlorinator

which water stats have you checked for? & it might be a good idea to check again daft question but you do use a declorinator when you change water? also do you vac clean your gravel?

nitrite 0
nitrate 0
amonia 0

yeah i always clean with grvel vaccum
the tank has been established for a year now and i clean it ever six days,
i had a couple of deaths in june but htat was becasue i went on holiday and my mam cleaned it out she did everything correct except she didnt turn the filter or heater back on after she cleaned it!! i returned 6 days later to find my tank stunk! but only lost 2 fish i couldnt believe it!!

hmmm....well you must have some sort of infection or disease in your tank, get some medicine, QUICK! i had a betta for months, one day it just died! day after that a fish kept copping it
