So what started as a small hobby with just a 20 ish litre tank that we were given, then expanded to a 2nd tank - 115 litres......
Today I bought a 3rd tank, just a small 14 litre kids 1st tank type set up to use as my fry tank
I felt bad them only having a small plastic hatchery to flit around in until they were bigger so got just a little set up for the fry - also to be used as an incubation tank if we have any poorly fish when the fry have been re homed or put into the other 2 tanks.
23 molly fry flitting happily around their new home tonight Used a mix of water from both our existing set ups & some fresh water with a drop of tank stabiliser to get it started.
So now we have the 20 litre tank with 3 mollies (1 male 2 females called Sooty, Stroppy & Sugar), 1 male japanese fighter (Sushi) and an ancistrus(Dyson).
The 115 litre is home to a pair of sword tails (Knife & Fork), pair of mollies (Bert & Bertie), 2 juvenile molly fry that are from my 1st ever fry drop from the mollies in the 20 litre tank (Salt & Pepper), 4 male guppies (Lemon, Nibbles, Shadow & Silver) , 1 ancistrus (Sucky) and new to this tank today are 6 neon tetras - un named cos I can't tell them apart, however in time I'm sure they will gain a collective name for them lol!!!
Excuse the random names, between me and my 3 children we think a little oddly at times lol!
