Alright guys so I lost 2 of my fish to jumping while I was doing a water change 
my tank is a 38 gallon with various caves and hiding places, right now all it has is a bristlenose pleco and a Senegal bichir, My tank is more suited for South American cichlids (I mainly keep South American or asian fish such as my wild betta, my other SA cichlid tank, and my ery ery) and I’m looking for something small enough to fit in the 38 gallon, big enough to not get eaten by the 6 inch bichir, and not as aggressive to bully the bichir (if that’s possible) I was thinking maybe 2 of the normal type blue acara, or maybe 2 electric blue acara. Tell me if this seems good or bad or if you have any other suggestions, thanks
