I also have this posted in the planted tank section but thought that I would share it with all of the forum.
I also have a 2.5g planted puffer tank and have a mini m ADA journal going in the planted tank section.

The blyxa is awesome.
To improve the stems.....trim them! Trim about 2/3rds down the stem and replant the tops. Should get a good bush in no time, better than the leggy stem look.
