I would like to add some live plants to my 36 gallon tank. How would I do so?

I have Peacock eel, 3 M Guppys, Baby Whale, 2 Neon, 3 Black Tetra, 3 Glowlight Tera 3  gold white cloud, 3 Terta)dont know), 2 Zerba Danio, 3 Black Kuhilli Loach and a very smail pleco. I will move it out when it gets bigger.

Well the answer that springs immediately to mind is you buy them from your LFS and then plant them in the tank but I suspect you probably knew that so I presume you want a bit more detail than that!

I'd suggest you go looking in your LFS to see what they have in the way of plants, take some notes on what they have and then come back to us. Its all very well going with some ideas of what you want but it will depend on what LFS you have around you.

Were you thinking of just bunched stem plants or looking into some potted varieties?

Agreed.

A lot of LFS sell a variety of plants, usually lower tech plants such as moss balls, java fern, crypts, anubias.
However there may be some plants unsuitable for your tank set up.

So just take notes of the ones you like the looks of and ask again here with these names of plants, and also with size of tank dimensions and perhaps types of lights you have on your tank, all these will help to give you a more informed choice of what may be suitable.
