Hi all i just picked up a small 33l tank and was wondering if i could put

A betta
And maybe 6 pygmi corys in if room allows

I still need to cycle it so it wil be along time before i put fish in anyway just after ideas

Some people on here will say yes that's fine. Other people in here are going to say no it's not. My own answer would be if you have good filtration and a sandy substrate, and not too much clutter taking up space on the bottom of the tank, then it's probably OK.

If the tank is cycled I would say a Betta and 6 pygmi corys will be fine.

I look after 23litre (Fluval Edge) tank for a relative which has A Betta and 4 Pygmi Corys and everything is fine. I do make sure that a 50% water change is done every week and the water stats are always perfect. Plus a 50% water change on a tank this small takes no time at all.

One thing I would say is to make sure your corys have a few places that they go to to keep out of the Betta's way if need be. As always some Betta's are docile some are mad!

I have the male betta but hes young i mistakenly got him thinking he was female for my female betta tank but he seems calm
