i have a small GT now in a 30g long tank. is this tank to small for just this fish? and does it help to keep a thicker level of gravel on the bottom? thanks for anyones help.

If you want him to grow properly and thrive then a larger aquarium is best - he will survive in the 30 though.

so what is suitable for a single green terror? i realy dont have the cash to upgrade my tank any time soon considering i have only had this tank since the end of september. plus i paid $220 for my tank, filter, self adjusting heater, gravle, hood/light fixture and stand. i thought it was a huge upgrade over the previous tank i had which was a ten gallon tank with a jack dempsey. also will having a thicker layer of gravle do anything for the tank?
