Hi, 3 questions, should be easy I think.

1. Java fern, I want to plant it on bogwood, lfs said jsut tie it to the wood and it will be good to good. and the leaves will get about 12" tall.
Is this info correct?

2. I want to move a couple of my amazon swords, jsut wondering if doing this is ok or if the re rooting is stressfull on them.

3. At what point do I not need the surface aggitation from my filter? I would love to have a dead silent tank.

Thanks In Advance.

1. Correct......although having leaves 12" tall will take a long time

2. Moving the sword plants should be fine, although swords that have been planted for a while can have very large root systems.

3. You need some movement on the water surface to enable oxygen exchange if your tank is reasonably stocked, obviously if you are injecting CO2 you want this surface agitation to be minimal, you dont need water splashing on the surface just surface movement.

ok cool, thanks

my swords have been planeted for about 3 weeks

and for the surface there is kinda ripples, and definatly a current in the surface, is this good enough? I always thought there needed to be teh water splashing.
