Ok, with anubias nana petite, how do you plant it? I thought you just planted it horizontaly but i've seen pictures of it vertical.
Also,
Is corkscrew vallis also known as twisted vallis (hopes it is), and I know how to trim this, but do I just replant the leaves or can I not replant it?

PS - Corkscrew vallis is my fav plant!

I've registered your information in my brain, but you confused me with the runners, i'm sorry to be a nuisance but would you mind doing a diagram for me please? Just a quick sketch on MS Paint or something, I think I have an idea I just want to confirm it.

Neal :hyper:

Now i'm even more confused than ever, I have like a bazzilion roots, but I can't see any green roots (runners).

I'm probably totally misunderstanding this!

When you have a runner you will see what looks like a very thick green root growing across the substrate and then a new plant will sprout off of that, once that grows a bit the runner will keep going....like in that picture.

Vertically planted anubias nana? I think you might have seen FishKillerNoMore's journal, they are planted ON a vertical pole or some sort.

Just going off track for a sec, although branded as 'slow growing' in a suitable condition they do grow quite rapidly. I find new leaves almost every day on mine.

Well my anubias nana isn't attached to anything just floating/half sunken and it's massive. How would I go about cutting this into 2 plants without killing it?

Neal

- Sorry for all the pruning questions, i've never pruned anything yet.
