i just bought some synodontis nigrita, 3 in fact. pics on the way soon. they settled right in and now looking for food one clown pleco has taken an instant dislike to them, he's having a right strop and bashing them when he / she can,nothing too violent, the clown is protecting its cave and is a lot smaller than the syno's so its quite amusing.

no, still have her, she calmed down a little and her bing the biggest fish in the tank probably made her think she was boss. these synos are a little smaller but very active so hopefully all will be well.syno's are as soft as mature cheddar so i wont get any problems from them

me too, i think it was just a case of dominance over the gn, she shows a bit towards the clowns but not that much.she will share foods with them but now it seems when it suits her. such a character, i couldn't bring myself to get rid of my bn

LOL you sound as bad as me, if she acts up again, bring her round to mine for a day, she can spend a day with Jethro my big common (he is so gentle), that will calm her down again
