Well after several years of no fishkeeping, decided to get a new tank.
Tetra Aquaart 30l basic set up using what it came with + added heater, which i dont think i need as its never on and it stays at a stable 22/23oC

Pic quality isnt the best unfortunatly. The moss ball might be removed soon however. Currently houses guppys and Zebra danios, and 2 cherry shrimp + 2 Siamese Algae Eaters

looks very good, bit small for the fish to swim around (danios like a good swim, cant remember about guppies) but its certainly nice to look at,is it cycled?

i think it would be a nice Betta and shrimp tank =]

Ive never had a betta before, and i did try introduce some shrimp which didnt go down to well. Tank has been running for a month and a half so far.

The only thing im not sure about is the filter, its flow isnt exactly too good, its the standard filter it came with, it does a decent enough job just doesnt give much water flow around the aquarium.

what do ya mean the shrimp didn't go down to well?

any copper in the tank will kill shrimp :(

No, the ones i recieved off a member from this site, most where very young, and it was like an expensive dinner.

I was expecting slightly larger ones but i was pleased with what i got until now, where i can find only 2 survivors lol. Never mind.

aaahhh okay =/

looking good, does the mossball keep alive ok or do they disband into a moss mess?

Why remove the moss ball? Sorry to hear about the shrimp. Buy more, and you might have a chance of babies. But your fish will eat them. Then it would be like a free snack!
