i just got a 29gal. an i was wondering what kind of africans i should get. i like the colors of the yellow lab.

remember im not a noob to the cichlid world. ive owned an oscar for 3 years an my JDs for 2years an every one is fine

Labs are cool, Cobalt blues are nice. I like auratus very much but they are really agressive.. Ive got 3 1 mature female, and a unmatured female and male. Hmm i dont know what else. Aquariumfish.net even if your not intrested in buying online because its a bit pricey they have some awesome stuff. check it out

A lot of people would say a small community of Labs would be great though I think that and some bottom fedders would be it for a 29. There are also Shell dwellers which would work, Julidochromis, Leupi, and some other less agressive Africans that would work. Oh and Auratus and many other cichlids especially Mbuna wouldn't work in a 29 due to their aggressive nature.
