Fish Fanatic
Slowly over the last week I've been doing some research on what kind of African cichlids I can fit into my 29 US gallon tank. Since I live in Alaska my selection at the LFS can be rather limited at times, so I've left them with a list of fish I would like, but haven't heard and affirmative or negative on the fish yet.
I was originally thinking about doing this setup according to a cookie cutter website (approximately half way down):
Julidochromis regani x 2
Neloamprogous leleupi x 2
Lamprologus ocellutus x 3
I haven't heard a full negative or affirmative back from my LFS yet, but just in case they can't get all three species do you guy shave any alternatives for a 29 gallon?
Looking online at www.liveaquaria.com I could only find Neo. leleupi out of my original 3, so perhaps these three would work as alternatives:
Neloamprogous leleupi x 2
Julidochromis marlieri x 2 (*instead of Juli regani)
Neolamprologus caudopunctatus x 2 or 3 (*instead of Lam. ocellutus)
I'm not in a huge rush, but if you have any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!
