well I am trying some live plants because a few of the plastic ones are starting to look hidious to me. what do you think. the live plants along the back really need to grow in, and the few in the frount are very slow growing so far.

29 gallon,
started out with after giving fry away..

5 corys
2 yoyo louch
1 molly
3 platys
5 gold tetras

now there is at least 2 adult mollys and 5 adult platys with some fry swimming around. the number of fish tends to change because I am always giving fry away, I never "save" them if they manage to live to adult hood I find them a new home when the tank gets full.

any and all sugestions are welcome, I think parts of the tank look cheesy, like a few of the fake plastic plants and the plastic log is looking less cool the more into fishkeeping I get.

Are you certain you have enough light. I have lost a lot of plants due to lighting being to low. Hate that to happen to you. Are you dosing with anything, like florish excell?

the background is actualy black construction paper, i am cheap and for a while it looked really nice, now looks a bit faded. I could replace it and see what I get.

I had gotten food, I think its flourish with iron?

the light is he cheap bar that came with the tank, its not very modifyable as in adding any aditional light. but could I just get a better or higher powered bulb?
