The starting point for ANY discussion about stocking a tank is to describe your source water's pH and hardness, (GH/KH).
From there, you'll know what fish will thrive in that water.
Then we look at the size of the tank, which is another limiting factor.
Rather than '29 gallon', (which I'll assume to be US Gallons

), the dimensions of the tank are more important.
