He already nipped at my algea eater, but that thing is crazy fast.
Would you advise of ditching my crabs once the rams get here?

I would keep them, if it's a money thing, they'd probably be ok in a 10 gallon for a long time. Fill it about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up with water, then set up rocks that go above the water line.

Yeah the crabs dont live long in a normal fish tank.They need land and brackish conditions, a 10gal setup this way should suffice, or like you said you could take them back.
