I should add, some of there bellys are quite big? Normal for them?

please please tell me this is going to be a species tank with a gigantic shoal??

Yes, my neons seem to come in two shapes, narrow and slightly rounder... I suspect the rounder ones could be females.

Thank you! There's a few narrow ones and then there's a few rounder ones. Just got abit confused.

As long as the roundness doesn't look like bloating should be a variation of their normal shapes.

Here is a picture of 2 different shaped ones that I have. I also have some that seem to have more of a bump on the bottom... probably not quite the right description! HAHA

love neons, I wish cardinal tetras were cheaper though, in an aquatics shop I noticed they were shoaling in their huge group even in the small tank space they had

but they are about £2-3 each whereas small neons are 5 for £4 at my local!

once I overfed and most of the neons had big bulges in their bellies, was worried they'd all got sick, much more careful with feeding now!

I only got them today so they were pretty much like that at the LFS :S

Mine don't get a chance to over feed themselves, they live with female guppies and platies and both of those are more dominant at feeding time! LOL

Ohwell, I guess a select few are just fat rofl.
