ok last wednesday i started to cycle my 20 gallon i just did a water test the tank is alredy in stage 2 of the cycle amonia 0 ph 7.5 nitrite 1.6 nitrate 50

welcome to the long agonizing part of the cycle. my nitrites are still unreadable(as in off the high end of the scale) it's going on 3 weeks now.
