Fish Fanatic
Hi, my tank recently went though a bit of an epidemic but its over now and i want to restock.
My tank has a few pieces of bog wood, a bunch of plants,
1 agressive angel
1 very timid blue ram who i think might be ill, but i'm not sure cause he never really moves, just sits on the bottom of the tank.
1 neon
2 glow light
its a 20gallon tall tank, 20''x21''x13'' i think
I'm planning on taking out all the fish, plants, 100% water change, cleaning the gravel very thoroughly with a gravel vac and giving the glass a good scrub - basically making the tank pristine.
i'm going to put in some nice roman ruins that i bought and i'm not going to put any of the plants back in. i'm going to put some rocks in and make some hide away spots too.
then i'm going to restock, my problem is that cause i have a very agressive angel, the rams always hide and never really do much, if i were to buy a large, boisterous ram, is there any guarentee he'd get along with the ram i have at the moment?
if i leave these two in the tank with the three tetras for a few days then readd the angel, could this re-align the balance and have all the fish getting along okay?
At a later stage i'm going to then add a few cardinals and a few panda corrys, what i'm wondering really is - whats the best way to introduce the fish and make it work? i really love rams, angels, cardinals and panda corrys and in theory they should all get along nicely - but its not working at the moment!?
