I have a 20 gallon tall tank, it is cycled and has a hang on the back filter. I already have 1 dwarf gourami and 6 kuhli loaches, how many more fish can I get and are there any good looking top dwellings fish.

Thx for any help.

Hi there; could you post the dimensions of the tank, and the pH and hardness of your water, please?

It would be irresponsible of us to recommend fish species without knowing those things.

Sure, so my water ph is about 7.2, and the hardness is fairly hard, I don't know we're my dad keeps the strips for testing it. As for the dimensions, L:20 inches W:10 inches and H:18-19 inches.

Personally, I would go with some Corydoras Catfish or a bristlenose pleco, and then a species of killifish for the top level of the tank.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but based on the dimensions, you actually have a 15 gallon tank. According to the aqadvisor calculator, which takes into account the bioload of fish rather than just their size, you are at 100% capacity for fish.

The OP already has Kuhli Loaches I would not recommend Cories too much competition for the Kuhlis when it comes to food time.

I would also not recommend Killifish with Gourami and Kuhli Loaches they require different water conditions.

Sure, so my water ph is about 7.2, and the hardness is fairly hard,
Kuhlis and Gourami prefer soft water.
