20 Gallon African Cichlid Set Up

I was thinking of starting up another fish tank and this one would be an African cichlid tank I wanted to now how many fish can I have in my 20 gallon keep in mind it's only going to be African cichlids

You won't be able to do any malawi cichlids, you'd need something at least twice the size of your tank for any of those. You could probably do a couple kribensis. Or a pair of julidochromis. maybe a small group of neolamprologus multifasciatus. not a lot, though. I'd guess you'd either be looking at a pair of small fish or -maybe- a group of 6 multifasciatus.

I agree. Although a pair of brichardi or one of the complex, would probably be fine as well. Just keep thinning out the young, so it doesn't get to crowded.
