1. Dont keep java moss with malwai, unless u wanna spend hours collecting it all with a net in a few months time.

2. Dont keep plecos with malawi, iv had 2 now and they keep gettin killed!?

Does anyone know what type of plec wont get mauled by these bastads.

I`m a newbie but from what I`ve read a Bristlenose Plec is pretty standard in a Malawi Tank alternatively most Synodontis Catfish apparently work well.

Yeah both are good. Commons probably if your tank is big enough.

Yep BN's are ideal, other non-Plec options are most Synodontis species catfish and Pim Pictus.
