2 New Females. Kinds Boring...

Um....you don't put the test liquid in the tank...you take a sample out. :) The color will last in the bottle for a long time, in the little testing vial...a long time too.

How expensize depends on the brand, and your fish store. I couldn't tell you.

Ah. That would have been a bad mistake.

Yes, about my test kit, my amonia one works, but my one with thestrips dosen't. One of the strips is supposed to be red to start out with, but instead it is green. It's really weird... all but one color does that and that's pH, that's it.

I'm getting one about 5:30.
I'm going to try and get the color one, but I might just need to get the test strips.
It may be more accurate, but for what I need, general is good enough.

Weeeeellll....When you are cycling, you need to know what's going on. If it says the NitrIte is 0, yet it's .50, you could think the cycle is done, throw in fish, and have them die. :/ Not saying that's going to happen, just an example. :)

If at all possible, go for Liquid. It's really going to be the best for your fish, even if it isn't the best for your pocketbook. :p But then, what about fish is?

My preggy female is sick.
She has all the white bit things...It looks like peeling skin  :-(
Does anyone know what this is?
How do I treat her?
I think i'd get very sick if I lost her...
