2 little questions

1) my betta is starting to look a little...podgy in the stomach area. trying the peas thing as i haven't seen THAT much poop around! how many peas should you give him?

2) my fishy had a big flarey fit the other day, and i noticed in the middle of his tail a little pin hole, no damage around it, just a perfect little hole, is this something to worry about?

1 pea, you can nuke it for about 10-15 seconds, then take it out of the shell and cut it in pieces. I am not sure about the hole in your lil guys tail. Is it possible he could have snagged it on any decorations?

that is possible, there was something i thought was too sharp and now i've removed it. it didn't look torn or anything, just a perfect round hole! very odd.
