Anyway.........,

The betta tank is gonna be used as a betta tank again, I want the sexiest betta money can buy, Who imports the really fancy ones into the UK?

The other tank, Once cycled is gonna be very planted, Question is what fish shall I have? Im gonna leave this one up to you guy

Well, I do like guppies but ive just had a MAJOR problem with my guppies (see emergencies), Ive just lost about 20 to some nasty bacteria thingy, I am a little put off with guppies now

The best place for bettas in the UK I know is Bettaman: here. I always drool over his stock. But they go like hot cakes, so if one takes your fancy email him right away!!

Ive looked there, OMG, I am spoilt for choice, I really dont know which one to get :hyper:

have you disenfected the "tank of death"?
after it is clean and cycled or cloned if you have
access to an existing set up.
how about doing a micro tank?
by that i mean aim for stocking it with fish that don't get over 1" (2.5cm)
there are many to choose from, given the availability in your area of course.

I have in a 20 gal
6x Hemigrammus rodwayi, 6x Pseudomugil gertrudae, 2x Pseudomugil furcatus, 4x Danio nigrofasciatus, 6 Rasbora maculata, 8x Chela dadiburjori, 4x Brycinus longipinnis, 5x Hemigrammus erythrozonus(albino), 7x Paracheirodon simulans, 5x Corydoras pygmaeus, 1x Corydoras hastatus, 6x Corydoras habrosus, 4x Botia sidthimunki, 2x Acatopsis choirorhynchus.
with the exception of the Hemigrammus rodwayi & Hemigrammus erythrozonus no fish reaches over 2.5cm as adults

Too small for plecos, but cories would be fine. Together with small shoal of tetras, or rasboras, or some platies, or pair of dwarf gouramis (or trio as long as only one is male), or trio of honey gouramis.

In a 12uk gal tank you could have some realy nice fish in there, how about a small shoal of 6 neon tetras, 3 peppered/albino/bronze corys or 4 khuli loachs and a group of 4 platys or female bettas :) ?

It still has all the death and filth in it at the mo, Its gonna be a while before its up and running again, Just looking for ideas at the mo, I like the sound of your idea though

glad you like the idea :)
interpet do a specific Aquarium Disinfectant
I'd recomend using it and follow the instructions to the letter.

I'd put "3 otos algae eaters", "5 corry catfish", and a school of neons. -_-

Or

"3 otos algae eaters" - "3 female and 2 male fidler crabs" - "school of neons"

Or

"3 otos algae eaters" - "4 african frogs" - "school of neons"

So many choices

If your tank is known for murdering fish, guppies will only cause problems for you  I loke guppies, but they caused a huge wipe out in one of my tanks and I haven't yet been able to restock it.

Too small for plecos.

I'd get a betta and 5 white clouds and maybe an african dwarf frog. I like white clouds alot!
