hi guys just wanted to get some veiws on what my stocking list looks like for my new tank.
filtered by a fluval 305 external filter

3 golden rams (1m/2f)
2 apistogramma panduri (1m/1f)
3-5 apistogramma aggassizi flame red (2m/3f)
6-7 choclate gouramis
3-4 bn's
a shoaling fish of your reccomendation (not to sure about them)
freshwater goby
3 golden lyretail killifish (1m/2f)

removed exsisting internal filter system to increase room

densly planted with lots of bogwood, almond leaf litter etc

I think you have too many territorial bottom dwellers there. Also, I wouldn't keep Chocolate Gouramis unless you have very acidic water (pH 5.5)
This is what I would do:
3 golden rams (1m/2f)
3 apistogramma aggassizi flame red (1m/2f)
2 Angelfish (pair)
3 bn plecos 1 M 2 F
8 Lemon Tetras
8 Glowlight Danio
2 golden lyretail killifish (1m/1f)

I would just go for 2 trios of the apisto species mentioned, forget the gold rams due to their water requirements - not sure on the angels but it might work - Good idea with lemon tetras but I would go for one large school rather than 2 but thats down to personal preference.

I just suggested Glowlight danio as I think they would look nice with the Killifish and because they are surface dwellers :good:

im not a fan of angelfish at all despise them, and i have no good reason just one of those things.

i have gouramis that are flourishing in ph 7 tap water at the moment along with rams and flame aggassizi had no fights as i have so many little caves...a few chases and i have had lemon tetras in the past. voracious eaters but nice fish, what about rainbow fish (dwarf ones) such as the forktail variety.

What about this:
3 golden rams (1m/2f)
3 apistogramma aggassizi flame red (1m/2f)
5 Chocolate Gourami
3 bn plecos 1 M 2 F
12 Forktail Blue-eye Rainbowfish
8 Glowlight Danio
2 golden lyretail killifish (1m/1f)

I have a 180 & was going to go with

A big school of 20 cardinal tetras

Harem of Dwarf Cockatoo Cichilds 1m + 2-3 Female (my local lfs has a lovely full red in stock. Hope its still there when my cycle ends).

6 Corys probably bronze

I know its not a massive selection but I think it would look very good & I am trying to stick with south american species.
