180gallon Tank Shot's And Fish !

Yup, a Fluval FX5, an Aquapro one (I think that's the right brand - cheapo large external filter - turning 1200l an hour), a Fluval 103 with nitrate remover in it (obviously at that size it's not doing much), and there were a couple of internals running in there but we just left the powerheads in for a current. I think that's what you call them anyway - it's my hubby's hobby really, I'm just the internet addict...

Dan, I dunno if you got your measurements right - a 6ft x 2 x 2 isn't 180 gallons according to my calculations (ok the online converters I use - I'm naff at maths). It is in US gallons, but in UK ones it's only 150g. I went round thinking mine was 135, but it's only 112g UK.

Could i ask what are your tanks measurements ?

Lisa's is 6ft (long) x 18" (front to back) x 2ft (tall). :)

Ahh ,, thats why it looks the same as dans , looks very misleading

I have already put the ebay link in a previous post of mine, they are very cheap custom made tanks !

What filtration do you have on there DanDanUk, and lisaLQ ?#

My math tells me that the 6'x2'x2'= 179.5325 US gallons  The wifey would kill me if I ever came home with something that BIG! She isn't too happy with the 40 gallon I have now. And just wait till she hears about the 72 US gallon tank that I was looking at the LFS today. However, I did catch her watching the fish yesterday for about 15 mins.

ahhhh...I just realized that this thread is over 3 years old. Sorry about that! I didn't know I was looking at old threads. The threads at the very bottom of my screen must be old.
