hi i have a 180l tank with the following in - 2 dwarf gouramis 3 small angels 1 german ram 1 golden nugget pleco and 9 platys 6 of which are babies from two batches. So many fish i want to get. But not sure on my limit ha ha
Did you cycle your tank? And how long has it been running mate? Be prepared to have loads more platies in no time whatso ever lol
The general rule of thumb is 1 Inch of fish for every gallon of water, but this is so basic to be honest.
Fish should be grouped together so there are compatible in terms of water conditions, tank layouts, tank dimensions, levels of aggresion etc. Always research a fish prior to purchassing it, and never buy the fish first then find out when u get it home how to care for it
so i reckon i could get a couple more tank has been going for about 4 months and is stable. Both males i think!? Nearly went marine coz i didnt think tropical had much choice but there are so many nice colourful fish. Just taking my time now and trying to pick wisely. Need to get some real plants and more decoration really like more rocks for hideouts
