17 Watt Flourecent

I have a 38 gallon tank heavily planted, and it's using a tank long 17 watt flourecent bulb. Is that good enough? everything seems to be thriving....

17 Watts sounds like an odd number to me, usually the tubes are either 11 or 18 Watts. Either way it's very low lighting, you should at least have another tube with it.
