i have an aquastart 500 tank, with the ugf that comes with it, also i have a interpet (or something like that) filter, i was just wondering if you guys thought this stocking is good; (please feel free to add or subtract any fish)

so here goes;

8- pristella tetras (already have)
6- copper harlequins ("" "" "")
3- ottos ("" "" "")
2-4 south american chiclids (roughly same size as bolivian rams) (dont yet have)

the tank is cycled,

the readings are all- 0
and the ph is somewhere in the 7 (i forgot )
also the tank is medium to heavily planted, with co2

p.s anything you guys can think of with colour, instead of the chiclids, as im open to suggestions

and what south american cichlids you gonna have???

as you will be just about fully stocked without these

You have to remember with Cube tanks there is less water surface area than long tanks, thus less oxygen transfer. Because of this you need to stock with less fish. Id probably have the 8 Pristella and another shoal of something else and the Otto's and leave it at that.

If you got a pair of blue rams thats tank would fully stocked and even then it might be to much
but one pair of blue rams would be good
