watching a 10ft fish tank to upgrade for my jag and oscars could someone help me and work out what size tank those three will need when fully grown as i dont no how to work out stocking levels the tank im watching is 120 inchs by 34 inchs by 24 inchs give or take an inch

I cant help, but i can say i wish i was in your shoes!

I found the space for a tank that size, but its a few years off before i can have it, only probelm is i want stingrays and the mrs wants a mbu puffer i think il need two tanks

Being able to fit a tank that size will be a factor in my next house move

For large, relatively inactive fish like oscars and JDs (by that I mean they're naturally ambush predators that lunge at things, as opposed to something like a silver shark, which is a far, fast swimmer) fish, you want a tank that is at least four or five times their eventual, adult size long, and two or three times their size wide.

An oscar can grow to 18", so ideally needs a tank 72" or 90" long and 36" or more wide.

golfzzin i no wat you mean but my problem is i like stingrays and since i saw i huge mbu puffer in a maidenhead aquatics in swindon i really want a monster tank for one but he was £800 i could rent a house for 2 month for the mbu to live in for that lol
