15w Heater Suitable For 5g Tank?

I'm thinking of buying a 15W cable heater for my nano that i'm getting off PFK, and was wondering is this ok or is it overkill? I'd like to know before I buy one, as if I bought one it would be off ebay.

I don't think it will be overkill. When using a higher power heater the heater will just be on less hours each day. The total power needed to keep your tank at a set temperature should be the same, regardless of the size of your heater. The good thing about a oversized heater is that you can still use it if you deside to go for a bigger tank...
But I think 15W for 5 gallons is a bit on the small side. 5 gallons should be heated with 25 to 50W I think.

If you look on aquaessentials, it recommends it for a 10-20 imp. gallon tank.
