156 Gallon Cylindrical Tank Ideas?

hi everyone

ive been told to come over to the old world cichlids page as i will be buying a 156 gallon cylindrical tank in a few weeks. it measures at just over 3.5 foot wide, and about 3 foot high. i would like to start a malawi tank, but just been told it wouldnt be best for them, so my question being what would be best in a tank of this description? thanks

I think it would work. I have a mixed malawi setup mbuna and aulonocara in a profile 1000 and before had them in a slightly taller tankalmost three foot. I constructed a tall reef in the center from ocean rock which acted as a sort of hi rise with no real issues through careful stocking

Yeah theres a fish shop in Dorset which is like a Cylindrical shape, has a constuction of rocks in the middle from floor to top, with hundreds of hidey holes, absolutely stunning, worth a go, would love to see, im trying to imagine it in my head, not having much luck..lol
