.

I've seen both the red and the blue in person and the blue didn't look so stunning like in the pic you posted. I think that must be great lighting or the person taking the picture used flash on their camera or well a combination of both.

I think it's really hard to capture these fishes true colors though like under different lighting or using different cameras their blue coloring would look different. Anyways the ones I saw looked more similar to these ones. Still they are a really nice fish!

:) i have 2!!!! yeah... my lfs had them in once, they were 6$'s each though! but yeah i have 2 of the blue ones, one male one female. I bought 5 (the only ones they had left) but 3 died becuase they had ich when i got them that was very severe.... not the most hardy fish out there so if you get any be prepared for some losses, but i love mine, and yes my male is as blue if not more blue then the one in the first pic.

i will once i have the room.... were moving house in 1-2 months (once its finished being built) and im getting either a 120 gallon or two 70 gallon thanks, so im converting my 12 gallon into a "mini fish" tank and having a school of them and a school of somethin else small, but right now theyre doing great and displaying great colors, but yeah i know they want friends so once i get the tank space theyll get some.
