I was thinking of setting up a 15 gallon brackish tank for 1 F8 puffer and was wondering if I could have any tankmates in with it? I would like a small goby kinda fish, but colourful would be good but aren't most brackish gobies quite drab? Also, what would be a good salinity for the fish and is there any chance of cloning if I don't have another brackish tank?

thanks

I don't know why you think brackish gobies are drab, gobies are an enormous family of fish, and there are different types of goby to suit all tastes. Most gobies will do fine in light brackish, which is why a lot of people report success with Bumblebee gobies, which would make an excellent addition to an F8 tank. Another great goby would be the "dancer" or "knight" goby.

i had 2 figure 8s and 2 bbgs in a 15 high.everything was fine.i only have 1 figure 8 now but will be getting more.i had a bad chemical experience.lost my most personable fish ever.
