Lovely fishy I got one like that "Koi" in the light he has like blue sheen to his body. ( He needs a clean out but he has made a lovely bubble nest so I just keep syphoning a bit off and putting a bit of clean in) heres a piccie of mine arent they alike.

yours is paler than mine, sort of white whereas mine has got like a peachy colour..love those red markings though! ps some of mine had holes but they sort of healed themselves. sorry knicking your thread a bit!

Took a dead betta back today and the chap gave me a replacement...didnt pick it...anyway its almost the same as my "Koi" he is a bit stressed so I am leaving him alone for a bit...

I didnt name him Koi, Bret did from BWbettas. Going to try and get some piccies of my Koi and new one side by side to see if they are similar I shall get mixed up might call new one Dupli, or Encore or Echo2. dunno

He's a handsome boy! That one turquoise scale thing is so cute, lol. I have a boy like him from WalMart as well, but is more apricot-colored. Love the red fin spots. Anyhoo, congrats on your first betta.
