Hey everyone. Just finished getting my stock for my 135g. Here's the list of what I currently have - -
1 Fire Eel (About 6")
2 Super Red Severums
2 Blue Acara
6 Dekai Village Rainbows
5 Geo. Red Head Tapajos

Right now, all of the fish are juveniles, largest being the Blue Acaras at 2.5" long (other than the eel), smallest being the Rainbows and Geos at 1" long. My PH is at 7.2, and I'm keeping my temp at 78. All of the fish are currently in my 55g, and I'll be getting the 135G within the next two months. My main concern is the fire eel...will he be able to do well in the 135g? Dimensions are 72"x24"x18". It will have a soft, sandy substrate so he can burrow, and I will have a few pieces of PVC in the substrate for him. I've read that they can get to 3 feet long, but usually don't get as large in captivity. Any info would be helpful! Thanks!
