It looks good, but not too sure about the java moss. When I first got mine, a bit of it was brown. After sorting out all the dead stuff, the green stayed green and grew. If there's any green left to that java moss, I'd say to try and help that piece grow. The brown stuff, I'm pretty sure will not bounce backk, sorry. :/

ohhhh I think it looks awesome! Good job! Wanna come help me redo my tank? :D

Very beautiful  ! I wish I had the guts to try a planted tank.

My java moss did the same thing to me, it is most likely dead unless you see small green ends that signal new life. I'd recommend tossing it and creating a carpet with another plant. Rest looks good though.

It's a beautiful tank. thanks for sharing. What's the thing on the bottom front and center? a piece of slate? What are you thinking of putting in there?

Hey no problem. Atleast I know I can make a turtle now. If you ever want anything else from me just ask. I'd love to actually sell some of the 50 odd pots I have in my basement lol. I figured they'd go faster than they are. =)

Simon! You never liked my tree right from the start! How could you not like it!? *hugs tree* hehe. Nah, I'm planning on getting pygmy rasboras, so I think they'll appreciate the cover the tree will give them :)

Torrean! I was hoping to get the turtle thinggy I told you about for the tank earlier on. However, like Simon said, the tank's looking crowded as it is right now :/ I don't think I could squeeze in the turtle clay anymore :(

The slate tile's covered with java moss right now. It's actually alive now! Getting greener everyday!!!

 tree hugging narrrrrrr!

If i cant persuade you to get rid of the tree :), how about covering the top in java moss, it would look like a tree in a field. of java moss. with sword grass bushes. :)
You could call the composition old oak tree :)

That's good to hear fishkiller_nomore. I'm glad that the java moss is coming around, my java moss started turning brown when I first got it too, just not to your extent. I let the little green specks grow and then I threw out the brown java moss. Now it is all green, and thrives quite well.

Jimbooo, when you say lay the java moss by their individual strands, do you really mean one strand at a time? I'm just wondering because I didn't know if java moss will grow that way. Seeing as each strand will grow by itself, next time I will recarpet them using one strand at a time, and not twisted together.

hi isaac . carlton

Saw your website, Torrean. Goodluck with your business venture! :)

Simon, if you look closely at the photo above, you could actually see the java moss attached to the tips of the tree. You probably didn't notice it because it's all brown and yucky and looked dead hahahaha! It's coming around though. They were actually pearling earlier! Who woulda thunk!? :)

I did see it but i thought it was algue :*) glad to here its coming round, looking forward to seen how it turns our over time. :)

You got rid of the tree. Simon will be pleased.
