125L Stocking

Hi all,

I was just wondering if the list of fish I plan to stock are fully compatible and if they are suitable to the Fluval Roma 125.

• 6 Peppered Corys
• 12 Neon Tetras
• Pair of Dwarf Gouramis
• 1 Bristlenose Plec

Hi, those are compatible, but I would recommend 1m 2f honey gouramis as they tend to be slightly more calm than dwarf gouramis. On for of that, you should be able to have a pair of Apistos.

I'll have a look at my LFS and see what they have, come to think of it I think they have honey gouramis in more frequently.

I wouldn't say DONT get dwarf gouramis. But you definitely need to know they can be problematic as kitty kat suggested.

Personally I'd recommend a pearl gourami or the trio kitty kat suggested. However dwarf gouramis may be do-able, just make sure it's 1 male 1 female or 2 females.

The choice is either 3 honey gouramis or a pair of dwarf gouramis. I'm looking for a bright, colourful species to stand out and be the centrepiece fish.

Have you considered some of the slightly larger cichlids? I reckon you could have a single rainbow cichlid in there as your centrepiece.

I haven't no. To be honest I've just presumed them as being too big compared to the other fish I plan to stock.
