Im now 12 days in to my fishless cycle and my Nitrites have dropped slightly fom 5 down to 2.
The puzzling thing is,my Nitrates have also dropped from 10 down to 5.
Ive been adding Ammonia on a daily basis for the last 3 days and it has all but gone within 12 hours so i know my cycle is running smoothly.
I bought some Bactinettes yesterday and added them to my filter to try and help things along.
I have had plants and Java moss in the tank since day 1.
Could the plants be affecting the Nitrate readings all of a sudden?
