10g To 50g

Depends on the type of snails. They virtually igore the trumpets but seem to have done a fairly good job keeping the smaller pond snails in check. I don't see any of those anymore.

thats the type of snails i have problems with. they came in on a plant i bought from walmart.

so far i think this is what ill have in this tank-
7 of each-neon, glo-light, and black tetras
5 zebra cory cats
3 khuli loaches
1 dwarf gourami(red, male)
7 harliquin rasboras
10 ghost shrimp
4 mystery snails

once i get these all situated, i may try to introduce a couple of german blue rams.

hows that sound?

well, id like to have a large school of tetra. i think ill take your advice on the glo-lights, neons, and the black neons. along with those im gonna get some harliquins, more zebra corys, possibly some khuli loaches, a dwarf gourami, and some more sunset platys.

i just have a feeling that my tank is gonna look a bit bare with these small fish.

EDIT:I just got a good idea for a centerpiece, maybe a german blue ram.

The German Blue ram is a very hard fish to keep alive due to the fact that the ph has to be perfect and the tank need constant water changes. I have a Golden Gourmie and two Angel fish as my centerpiece. a Rainbow shark is always nice two

German blue rams are'nt hard at all.. Admitadley they may be harder then say platies, but their just a step up, in my opinion no more difficult than say an Angelfish, an certainly easier than rainbow shark whom are notorious for being aggresivley territorial and doin damage to smaller fish.
Also due to the fact their fish farmed, ph is no longer particularly important at all. And all fish need good water conditions, i would recomend a 20 - 25% water change per week, or a 40 - 50% per fortnight, and i would recomend that with most fish.
