Well my 10g planted has a full spectrum tube light. I run it 8 hours a day and don't dose co2 or ferts. I keep up on water changes but my plants still don't seem to be thriving. I do have hair algae on my anubias and some on my filter tube. I try and clean it off but I know they are attached so well I can't see it. Such a pain. I know the anubias will be fine but here is a pic of the red ludwigia. It has a beautiful red but the leaves seem to be thin in places and I'm constantly pruning. Would dosing co2 help? I have "API Flourish" but it's a fert and not co2. I'm going to check the label, I've read copper kills shrimp. I've been thinking of getting Seachem Flourish but I don't think I'd need to dose every day or even every other, would I? I probably would add it every other water change so 1x a week. Would that help with the algae and maybe fill in the leaves? This was taken with my phone. I'll try and upload some better ones with the real camera. Any input is appreciated!
