So, I'm getting a 10 gallon tank next month, and I'm moving my sorority female bettas to that. They've been together a while now, and even though there are just 3, I have had no problems. They are getting along great, surprisingly well. Granted, the first day, there was a little fighting, but now, I have no issues, at all. No nipped fins or anything. The deal with the 10 gallon, was that I have to ad something colorful to the tank, for my mom to look at! So, what can I put in the tank with the 3 female bettas? I know I want to put in 2 mystery snails, so, what else can I put in? The bettas are pretty docile, no macho girls in my tank. What would you put in there for some color? And would it be possible to put in some otos once the tank has been running/cycled a couple of months?

Endlers? Pretty small and colourful, a group of half a dozen males might work.

Yeah, I had about eight a few years ago, funny little things, display and posture to each other a lot but are so small it's hard for them to look that intimidating! They are livebearers so better to get all males in that size tank. I think they'd be a good choice in that size tank with bettas.

khulis get too large. a good 4 inches, and are pretty active, though shy. pygmy cory's would be alright, as would some small rasbora species. But 10 gallons leaves you pretty limited, imo, just get more female bettas and some small cories for bottom feeding crew.

I wouldn't class corys as "colourful" though. Active, yes.

I wouldn't try guppies with bettas. IMHO I'm lucky that my guppies were compatible with my betta. I think that they were because they had unusually short fins and went that bright or colorful. neons should work. 6 to 8 would be a good choice :good:

Alright! So here are the choices:
6 male endlers
6 neon tetra
6 chill rasbora

Any other choices ??

Oh no!! I didn't mean all of them!! I meant those are my choices!! I'm trying to make a list of options!! I would never put that many in a 10 gallon!
