I've got an empty 15 gallon tank that I'd planned to turn into a female betta sorority tank in the fall. It's sitting in my apartment 1.5 hours from where I am right now. I am emptying my 10 gallon tank of guppies tomorrow (a friend is taking them), and donce the guppies are gone, it'll be home to:
5 panda corydoras
3 peppered corydoras
4 otocinclus affinis
The tank is well established and the filter carried a heavy bio-load with all the guppies (rated for 20 gallons). I've seen some gorgeous ones in a local store that were fairly young (about an inch long). Would this tank be large enough to introduce a few female bettas (say 3-4) into temporarily until the end of August when I set up the 15 gallon?
If not, it's not a big deal, I'll just have to learn to be patient (and maybe find a different fish to house in it
e)
Attached a pic of the tank; It's gravel substrate, combination of silk and plastic plants, CFL lighting, couple terracotta pots.
*EDIT*
Water level is low in the tank due to the fact that I've got two jugs and a jar of guppies floating in the tank until morning when my friend comes to pick them up (was easier to net them all today slowly than try to hurry and do it tomorrow and stress all the fish out) Please ignore the jar of guppy fry.
