10 Gallon

A friend asked me about him getting a 10 gallon and he came up with a stocking but i was not sure if he could do that so i said i will get the answer from here.
 so he said would it be fine to keep 8-10 ember tetra or mosquito rasbora and 6 pygmy cory in a 10 gallon tank. so is this stocking suitable.

The best answer is: Not exactly...
 
I'd suggest 8-10 ember tetras OR the pygmy cories. 
 
You could go with 6 embers and 6 pygmy cories... but I'd suggest it would be better not doing that.
 
Perhaps adding 8 embers and a honey gourami.
