So, here's the deal:

I've currently got a 10 gallon stocked to it's capacity with 6 platies.

I'm getting a 20 gallon soon, when I do, the platies will be moved into that and the 10 gallon is going to be a Dwarf Puffer tank.

So, in the 20, I'll have room. I'd like to have some sort of bottom-dweller and something else. Any suggestions?

okay i would reccomend khuli loaches they are just very amusing, alsoa nice group of corys are another option or if you manage to find them polka dot loaches

a shoal of corys all the way IMO :good:
for a center piece fish id go with maybe rams, dwarf gouramis etc.... but my minds gone blank

If you are going for a peaceful 20gal community tank (which it should be), i'd go for either a herd of amano shrimp as bottom dwellers or black khuli loaches :good: .

Loaches would be a no probably. They only have those at PetCo and PetCo has a bad history with me, especially with loaches. So probably cories, thanks! :)

i like ladder loaches, but i dont see them often...

Never even heard of them. I want to avoid online buying too, too much money!

I'm thinking a shoal of cories is indeed the way to go. I'm thinking 2-3 pygmy cories and maybe 1 or 2 Dwarf Gouramis? Is that too much?

Amano Shrimp is a great idea, there will be at least one in there! He's been with my platies this whole time so I'm going to keep him with what he knows. They know not to mess with him!
