The tops of the thai onion plants have to be above the gravel and I was hoping to disguise them with my wonderful grassy riccia covered piece of slateQuite nice, I agree the riccia doesn't look to good, it's not very good in low light, that's why I don't use it. Also, I like your ?onion plants?, but I don't like the bottom of them. You should change your substrate to sand too, it would look much better IMHO.

. Will have to come up with another plan me thinks. Sand is a possibility but dont know if i can be bothered with all the hassle.Know anything else that looks similar but grows better in low light levels?
