I have a 10 gallon that was dirted and all it was doing was collecting algae constantly I've de-dirted it. The original filter is still there and I wanted to know how I can stock it. The only requirement is that there be a betta in a plan because I already have him. I was thinking pygmy cories. Any other ideas?

Thank you for your suggestions. I added 5 "Emerald Eye Rasobra's" and it's fun to watch them shoal around. The betta seems a little annoyed but he's ignoring them as long as they shoal. The lady at the story told me they'll stay small so I'm hoping.

They grow up to 2.5 inches, which is bigger than I would recommend for a smaller tank like that. The information I've found states that they require a minimum of 10 gallons, but considering that they are shoaling fish, that means you need 6 or more. That's too much for a 10 gallon tank...

I'd stick to fish that stay at the 1 inch size, but that's me.
