Newest addition Australian Pearl Arowana! He is a beauty ! I am having problem getting photos on cos i d like to add pics of my other tank on here so wish me luck
I think i'll need it lol

Lovely fish, i have one of these that is 20" long. Dont expect too many replies though, most folks on here dont say much unless its a picture of a betta or a puffer.

gorgeous fish you have there. i'd love one myself but a little on the large side for me. if i had room for a bigger tank that would definatly be on the shopping list.

i think the betta owners would love your fish if they too had a bigger tank, unfortunatly they dont hence why they keep bettas and dont show as much interest in the tank busters.

puffer owners you have no excuses.... ;)

thanks for sharing.

Well I was going to say something but it looked like some kind of stock photo to me and not one that's actually been taken by maryjason - I might be wrong and if so apologies :*) :dunno:

Oh please, stereotype a bit more if you will. My tankbusters find it hilarious, as do I! :p

Mary~ Is that the actual arowana? I agree with bloozoo, I also thought it was just a stock photo :dunno: Either way, congrats on such a beauty. I'd love to have one someday!

Thanx Adistar !...at the minute he is in a 3ft tank BUT only for a short while. We are busy looking for a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft so he won't be in this 3ft one for very long. Being juvenile he is only about 8" and still has plenty ov space in this temperary tank. I hope he does grow to the 36" he should and then if for one minute i thought he needed bigger than a 6ft tank he'd get that. I take great care and plenty ov time researchin any fish i have and i have some beautys. Do you have an Arowana???

Thats a gorgeous fish.Did he come with a big price tag?

Hi....thanx....well he was £65 so yea i think it was expensive him being only 8" but knowing the size he will grow he is worth it. We go to a very good aquatics who really do know how to supply you with stunning fish, the kind you don't see in your everyday tropical fish shops.

Hi i have put a pic on that shows some of the tank i will take another photo for you 2morra...the tanks pretty bare apart from one stone making sure air stone stays covered up and gravel (i dont really like bare bottom tanks) I wont put anything else in i.e bogwood etc cos i dont want him to hurt himself as these are known to be very jumpy but as yet my Aro is very calm and settled and seems very happy ....I am getting a 6ft tank soon which will look fab if all goes to plan this tank he is in is just a temp home for him but all the same very suitable at the minute too. Hopefully i will be putting more pics on photobucket in the next few days :look:

I hear ya, they are a major PITA to snap. 95% of my pics turn out blurry or of only half of the fish
