This is my 60. The pic doesnt look as good after scanning but oh well. By the way Its still a tank in progress. Any ideas for improvement are appreciated. I think soon one of the lil rock formations may be gone and replaced with some plants, but we will see.

Oh yeah how do you guys get your backround to stop peeling? Youll notice in the right corner it seems all bubbly. Every time I make fixy it goes back after a few hours.
Thanks

Looks great, I really like the rock formations :)

My background did that too because water got trapped between the side of the tank and the background. I took the background off and then reattached it, and it seemed to work :dunno:

i wouldnt bother removing any rock formations as they look realy nice :) (i say this cause it looks like mine a bit lmao) get some vali (sp?) and go around the backs and sides of the formations with it, u get a realy cool effect (any long grass type plant will always look amazing behind rainbow slate) then in the middle get a nice bushy tall plant and ur all set :)

i love ur tank and i hope you keep all the slate, i love slate an always have done.

Wow thanks guys. I will try taking the backround off and re sticking it. Im gonna try your suggestion too nightlife. Your tanks always look smokin. Does anyone know where to get some vali in Toronto.

:D Ok heres a great pic of plecy doing his happy food dance with his disk. I tried to post this last night but my computer had a meltdown. Hes such a cute guy. Hes gotta be at least a foot long.

awesome where do you find slate like that? id love to get some and create something like you have it looks great.

Your Plec looks awesome and SO big!

I like your tank, just keep doing more of the same, more rocks of the same type and some taller plants at the back of the tank.

Ben

Looks fantastic! tHOSE SLATE FORMATIONS ARE A BEAUT. My suggestion would be to place some tall ornaments also. Like a tree stump or tall plants that have a sort of significant and imposing presence.

Thanks for the great feedback :D I am not sure where my bf found the slate. I will ask him tonight, but im pretty sure they came with the tank when he inherited I think I will leave the rocks. Iv got to find a way to break some of the edges off though. Iv noticed what looks like a little scrape on plecy's nose. I think he might have scraped it on the slate but Im not sure which one because i didnt see it happen.
That tree stump is a good idea. Im gonna try to find one this w/end.

Heres a cute pic of one of my rhino plecs. Its a little dark. He sure loves his little cave. Oh I just noticed the sea monster had to get his big nose in the picture too.lol what a camera hog.
